Tweet to woo - Designate bucks the twend

We've just gone and won us another client. Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board. And this was one was a little bit different. On the Monday, they decided that they needed an agency for an Easter promotion, and fast. So they used twitter to put out the word out with the world's first twender. Forty-three agencies responded. By late Thursday afternoon, we were on the shortlist. Friday was full steam ahead and we presented at 10.30am the next Monday, by Twitter of course, in what we could only possibly describe as a twitch. The result was announced to the world on the Wednesday. Not bad for a few days' work and what must be one of the fastest turned round pitches ever.
